Charles Scianna Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Scianna Jr. of Bellville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scianna and Beverly Favre Scianna; his brother Peter; and his niece Blair Scianna. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Ashley Sciba (Clint) and Stephanie Latham (William); his granddaughters, Claire, Keeleigh, Caroline and Grace; and his siblings, Stephen (Paula), Kenneth (Vicki), Paul (Paige), Mary Ann Benvenutti (Mike), Danita Lattrell (Joey), Linda Collinge (Gary) and Julie Timberlake (Harvey).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (936 S Front St, Bellville, TX 77418). A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:45 PM to 8:15 PM at the STS Paul & Peter Catholic Church (936 S Front St, Bellville, TX 77418). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77065). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery (15994 TX-159, New Ulm, TX 78944).
