She is survived by: her husband Danny Gilbert of Brookeland, Texas; her stepchildren, Danny Gilbert Jr. (Nona) of Pineland, Texas, Christie Adams (Brandon) of Toole and Vickie Gilbert of Kilgore, Texas; her nieces, Jennifer O'Neal Godwin of Minden, Louisiana and Rachel O'Neal Siau of Minden, Louisiana; and her close friends, Matilda Dickerson of Pineland and Tammy Howard of Jasper, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
