He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Romero and Ruby Romero (Menard); and his sister Louanna McNeil. He is survived by: his wife Teri Romero (Britt); his daughter Michele Mattatall (Christopher) of Humble; his granddaughter Madilyn Mattatall; his siblings, Judy Harrington (Jimmie) of Johnson Bayou, Ronnie Romero of Hackberry and Diane Price of Johnson Bayou; and his nephew Rowdy Slaughter of Bridge City. He is also survived by son; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
