He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lyda and Etta Morrow Lyda; and his wife Mary Anna Nix Lyda. He is survived by: his daughter Marie Long (Marshall) of Brookeland, Texas; his stepchildren, Benita Burge (Bill) of Cooper, Carolyn Milner (Key) of Jessup, Georgia and Burt Ogden (Mary) of Arkansas; and his brother Jervil Lyda of Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
