He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Faye Irene Scott (Mitchell); and his siblings, James Weaver, Joe Lee, Danny Ray and Dorothy Faye Pruitt.
He is survived by: his former wife Loretta Shaw; his daughter Becky Jené (Wendell Byrom) of Gatesville, Texas; his wife Linda Carol Parsons Hinesly; his son Mickey Scott (Kay) of San Angelo, Texas; his stepchildren, Brad Hinesly of San Antonio, Barrett Hinesly of Weatherford, Texas and Allison (Brian Creech) of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Krista, Kael Byrom, Sarah, Emily Scott, Trinity, Remington Hinesly, Alex and Sydney Creech; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie Coble, Kash and Kimber Latham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
