He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Daniel McClelland and Lougena Jones McClelland; and his sister Sonjal Woods. He is survived by: his wife Debra McClelland of Bronson; his daughters, April McClelland of Highlands and Natasha McClelland of Lumberton; his stepchildren, David Counts of Arkansas and Brandy Yancy of Arkansas; his siblings, Dee Royce McClelland of Bronson, Gale McClelland (Brenda) of Hemphill, Penny Coulter (Jed) of San Augustine and Jamie Ann McClelland of Pineland; and his grandchildren, Terry McCannless, Ivey Yancey, Morgan McClelland, Kaelynn Smith (Kane), Aubree Larson and Wesley Knight. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
