It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Saleme Jr. of Bronson, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Saleme and Edna Marie Wheeler Saleme; and his sister Carol Sue Saleme. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Roberts Saleme; his sons, David Saleme (Tammi) of Columbus and Michael Saleme (Shelly) of Houston; his stepsons, Troy Dwayne Roberts (Carol) of Zwolle, Louisiana and Brandon Roberts (Monica) of Broaddus; his grandchildren, Emily Saleme, Ryan Saleme, Grant Saleme, Logan Saleme, Billy Roberts, Kevin Rivers, Kyle Roberts and Makenna Roberts; his nephew Paul Vanek (Linda); his niece Patricia Vanek; and his close friend Tom Sterling (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
