He was predeceased by: his parents, Dyral Cortez and Bernice Marshall Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Fay Vaughn; his daughters, Lori Vaughn Ricotta (Coby), Sandra Vaughn Dixon, Angela Vaughn Gurrola (Jesus) and Katy Vaughn Julian (Daniel); his grandchildren, Justin Hodge, Brandon Hodge, Miranda Hodge, Valerie Standard, Summer Stuart, Mason Dixon, Kason Dixon, Cameron Gurrola, Christian Gurrola, Kaylan Gurrola, Riley Julian and Axel Julian; and his great grandchildren, Brynslee, Branson, Kazmin, Kyzer, Kambree, Ava, Cohen and Waylonn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Gary Cemetery (176 Bobcat Trail, Gary City, TX 75643).
