He was predeceased by: his parents, James Milton Poindexter and Barbara Faye Murray Poindexter; and his daughter Vanessa Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Poindexter of Bronson; his daughter Jessica Wright (Barry) of Bronson; his brother Mike Poindexter (Jessica) of Rayburn Country; his nieces, Brittany, Kayla, Ricci and Sayge; and his grandchildren, Lynnsey Thompson, Winston Wright and Coty Davis.
