He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Key and Mary Sue Roberts Key. He is survived by: his wife Penny Key; his sons, Nicholas Key (Tonja) of Bronson and Marcus Key of Bronson; his grandchildren, Addison Key, Kasey Key, Kameron Key, Kysen Key, Gabriel Hawver and JonniRae Hawver; his great grandchildren, Huxlee Key, Marisol Hawver and Sagelynn Hawver; and his sisters, Kathie Nelson of Livingston and Jean Beavers of Livingston.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Little Flock Cemetery.
