It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Beckwith of Broaddus, Texas, born in Singer, Louisiana, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Beckwith and Marva Mae Perkins; his son-in-law Gregory Claude Barnes; and his siblings, R. E. Pickering, Laverne Baack, Paulagene Bennett, R. C. Williams, Freddie Williams, Ralph Williams and J. B. Beckwith.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jeanette Beckwith of Broaddus, Texas; his children, Debra Sheree Beckwith Barnes of Kenefick, Sonya Renee Beckwith of Crosby and Jeffrey Eugene Beckwith of Crosby, Texas; his grandchildren, Jeremy Claude Barnes, Itziar of San Sebastian, Spain, Lieren Nicole Barnes Guillotte, Jonathan of Kingwood, Jacob Gregory Barnes and Kimberly of Humble, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Ruari Guillotte and Adelaide Lillian Guillotte. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
