She was predeceased by: her parents, Wootie Thomas and Marie Gertrude Beard Green; her husband John Hanzelka; and her siblings, Thomas Green, Muriel Carter and Nelda Cunningham.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Hanzelka (Kelly) of Cypress, TX and Kathy Kerbow (Gary Kerbow) of Richmond, TX; her grandchildren, Amy Kerbow Tobin, Allen Kerbow, Ryan Kerbow, Johnny Hanzelka and James Hanzelka; and her great grandchildren, Jack Hanzelka, Jett Hanzelka, Jace Hanzelka, Jackson Tobin, Kaitlyn Tobin, Evelyn Tobin and Harper Kerbow.
