It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francisco Rivera of Broaddus, Texas, born in Santa Maria, California, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Villagomez (Perez) and Raymond Villagomez; and his siblings, Lisa Villagomez and Albert Villagomez. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Rivera of Broaddus, TX; his children, Lisa Rivera of McAllen, TX, Vikki Lopez (Adrian) of Corpus Christi, TX, Kristi Rivera Sanchez of Corpus Christi, TX and Erik M (Rivera); his stepdaughters, Heather Scavo (Dominic) of Broaddus, TX and Amanda Hollan (Robert) of Ingleside, TX; his grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Anthony, Abby, Amanda, Angel, Leann, Madalynn, Samantha, Erik M. Rivera Jr. "EJ", Bobby, Brennen, Charlize, Samuel, Olivia, Taylor, Alyssa and Tayven; his friend James Sabo of Ingleside, TX; and his sister Mona Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX.. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
