He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Gale and Iola Mae Gale (Oness); and his granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Giles. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Gale, Jr. (Shirley Mae) of Paradise, Debbie Hobbs (Joey Sr.) of Bridgeport and Elizabeth Giles (Bryan) of Weatherford; his grandchildren, Michael Scott Gale (Kimberly), Bryan Scott Gale (Wynema), Babby Dunn (Rodney), Joey Hobbs Jr. (Rebecca), Chris Hobbs (Morgan), Stephen Walker (Whitney), Billy Walker (Julie) and J. B. Giles; and his sister Geri Wood of Tucson, Arizona.
