He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Landers and Opal Landers (Kuykendall) of Bowie; and his daughter Karla Hatten of Gainesville. He is survived by: his wife Berniece Landers (Tims); his daughters, Karen Culpepper (James) and Samantha Remington (Matt); his siblings, Randy Landers (Sharon) and Robbie Lyons; and his grandchildren, Audrea, Rachel, Ricky Hatten, Austin Bell, Ryan, Katie, Jordan Culpepper, Reece and Saige Remington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (886 Co Rd 1326, Bridgeport, TX 76426). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery (886 Co Rd 1326, Bridgeport, TX 76426).
