It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Meyers of Bridgeport, Texas, born in Olney, Texas, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Frederick and Martha Meyers (Mott); and his siblings-in-law, Norris and Joyce Cheves. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Meyers (Cheves); his children, Matt Meyers (Laurie) and Meredith Coffman (Jody) of Granbury, Texas; his siblings, Jimmy Meyers (Janis) of Bridgeport, Texas, Cathy Blum (Tommy) of Fort Worth and Susie Anders (Jim) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Averie, Jace, Jack Coffman, Bransen and Colt Meyers; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha Scroggins (Mike) of Fort Worth and Kay Walker (George) of Cedar Hill, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Presbyterian Church or The Lions Club in Bridgeport.
