He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Davis and Deloras Davis (Cox); and his wife Jackie Davis (Shanks). He is survived by: his daughters, Saundra Whitener (Derick) of Bridgeport and Duania Nash (Ronnie) of Argyle, Texas; his brother Rick Davis of Sweetwater, Texas; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Autumn and Allison; and his great grandchildren, M. J. and Kayden.
