She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Morehead and Mattie Evelyn Morehead (Maddux); her husband Harold Read; her grandsons, Dalton George and Braylon Shetter; and her brother Randall Morehead.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Read (Marilyn) of Decatur, Mitchell Read (Debbie) of Paradise and Lori Dolak (George) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Jason Read (Tiffany), Amanda Shetter (David), Melissa Read, Scott Read, David Scott Herrera and Sam Dolak; and her children, Christy Charters and Amber Herman. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
