It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris (Stokes) Green of Bridgeport, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Stokes and Augie Stokes (Gober); her husband Donnie Green; her son Tony Green; her daughter-in-law Jana Green; and her brothers, J. R., Earl and Mickey Stokes.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Green (Harriet Garrison) and Jeff Green (Stella); her granddaughters, Kristi Lopez (Ben) of Bridgeport, Kacie Cross (Billy) of Bridgeport, Sara Stansell (Jason) of Hurst and Emily Black (Josh) of Alvord; her siblings, Mike Stokes (Judy) of Garrison and Judy Carlton (Terry) of Bridgeport; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Raiden Lopez, Bryson, Karlee Cross, Luke Stansell, Harleigh, Cooper and Matty Black.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home (1401 Halsell St, Bridgeport, TX 76426). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery (886 Co Rd 1326, Bridgeport, TX 76426).
