He is survived by: his wife Petey James; his daughters, Emily James and Lauren James (Mason Kinto); his siblings, Brent James (Gale) and Cathy James; his grandchildren, Mia Kinto and Max Kinto; and his mother-in-law Mary Lou Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home - Bridge City (800 Highland Dr, Bridge City, TX 77611). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
