He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Lynd and Eunice Lynd (Stout); his brothers, James Lynd, Arthur Lynd and Bernard Lynd; his granddaughter Jamie Brown; and his former wife Marilyn Ketelers Lynd.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dukes Lynd; his daughters, Sue Groff, Kristi Harvey and Karin Leger (Ronnie); his stepsons, Bobby Frasier and John Frasier; his siblings, Eunice Walden, Dorthy Roddam, Patricia Bell, Daisy Taylor (Fred) and Dan Lynd; his stepchildren, Carol Wolfe and Kenneth Jenkins; his grandchildren, Aaron Leger (Tiffany), Stefan Leger (Kate), Melisa Groff, Amy Groff, David Groff (Heather), Meredith McMurray (Tom), Sarah Bartlett (John), Caleb Harvey and Nathan Harvey; and his siblings-in-law, Carmon Dukes, Jr. and Ina Hanson (Glenn). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
