She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Shepherd and Ruby Shepherd (Boutte); and her sister Eleanor McCarver. She is survived by: her husband R. C. Russell; her children, Ronnie Russell (Mandy), Jeanette Gassett (Greg Deuschle) and Natalie King (Gary); her grandchildren, Andrew King, Ryan Gassett (Bridget) and Thomas King; her great grandchildren, Daniel Garcia, Luke Gassett, Layla Watters and Noah Watters; her brother Walter Shepherd (Dot); and her niece Mary Jane McCarver.
