With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juana Matthews of Bridge City, Texas, who passed away on April 15, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Newman Rhodes and Juanita Rhodes; her husband Howard Matthews; her brother Cecil Rhodes; and her son-in-law Boo Richard.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Matthews (Lisa), Lynn Richard and Ann Borque (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Ralph and Lynn Ann Rhodes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church, 200 W. Roundbunch Rd., Bridge City, TX 77611.
