It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Chandler Boyett of Bridge City, Texas, born in Orange, Texas, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Searcy Chandler and Gertrude Lera Chandler (Entler); her husband Melvin Boyett, Sr.; her siblings, Bonnie Lym, Elsie Daniels, Raymond Chandler, Robert Chandler, Jr. and Wendell Chandler; her children, Rita Hucko, Virginia Tayler and Melvin Boyett, Jr.; and her great grandchild Raeleen Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Platt (Ronnie) of Bridge City; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Platt, Jessica Church, Joseph Platt, Logan Boyett, Brandi Griggs, Colleen Simmons and Rachel Freeman.
