He is survived by: his wife Josephine Caroline Mires (Bergeron); his sons, Henry Alon Mires (Maria) of Cypress, Russell Wayne Mires (Crystal) of Bridge City and Bowman Trent Mires (Christie) of Leander, Texas; his grandchildren, Aimee Carter, Ciera Nelson, Christian Mires, Jacob Mires, Brock Youngblood and Pacie Mires; his great grandchildren, Luca Joseph Carter and Eva Marie Carter; and his siblings, Carmen Lucia and Wendell Mires.
