He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Leroy Bloomfield and Nellie Vivian Bloomfield (Miller); and his daughter Shannon Pruett. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Gayle Bloomfield; his daughter Ellen "Missy" Melisa Crumpler (Joshua); his son-in-law Brad Pruett (Marianne); his grandchildren, Blake Pruett, Mason Pruett, Kynedi Crumpler, Sydnie Crumpler and Madyson Crumpler; and his brother Jerry Bloomfield (JoAnne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving friends and family.
