It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Mae Motl of Brenham, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Janis and Julie Pustejovsky Janis; her husband Gilbert Motl; and her brothers, Jerry, August, Vencil, Alex and John.
She is survived by: her family Barbie; her children, Gregory (Linda), Yvonne (Joe), Alan, Lloyd (Ronda) and Paul (Tonya); her grandchildren, Lisa (Michael), Bethany (Geoff), Christine (Sam), Michelle (Dale), Kimberly (Jake), Amalie, Mary, Valerie and Justin (Savannah); her great grandchildren, Ava, Abby, Ainslee, Lucas, Jonah, Finley, Caleb, Benjamin, Rachel, Nadiya, Kairyn, Jaxyn and Raelyn; her brother Joe "Jody"; her grandsons, Michael Motl, Matthew Motl, Dustin Motl, James Motl and Drew Motl; her nephews, Patrick Janis, Steven Janis, Michael Janis and Danny Vitek; and also, Cindy Motl and Judy Spain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (701 Church St, Brenham, TX 77833). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 701 Church St, Brenham TX 77833.
