He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Blome and Louis Dierking Blome; his wife Gerdine Blome; his sister Ella B. Kramer; and his brother-in-law Harold O. Kramer.
He is survived by: his godchildren, Denny Kramer, Kirby Lampe, Kendall Kramer and Kisha Kramer; his nephews, Ray Kramer, Denny Kramer and Paul Kramer; and his great-nephews, Kendall Kramer, Jason Kramer, Jeremy Kramer, Chad Kramer and Daniel Phife.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
