He was predeceased by: his parents, Nello Strickland, Jr. and Dorothy Jane Strickland (Moerbe) of Brenham; his daughters, Nancy Strickland Khan (Will) of Charlottesville, VA and Ria Strickland (Allan Velasquez); the mother of his child Joyce Svoboda Strickland of Katy; his grandsons, Landon, Riley and Aayan; his brothers, Kim Strickland (Sherry) of Temple and Donie Strickland (Sheri) of The Woodlands; and his aunt Tilly Harrison of Brenham.
