With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Eldridge of Brenham, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Eldridge and Jewel Eldridge; his siblings, Donnie, Larry Eldridge and Shirley Ladewig (Elaine Brown); and his sister-in-law Linda Werner.
He is survived by: his wife Mozelle Eldridge; his sons, Robert "Robbie" Eldridge and Michael Eldridge; his stepdaughters, Pam Bumguardner and Shannon Pope; his grandchildren, Jessica Rosenbaum, Ashley Eldridge, Micheshalae Eldridge, Michael Eldridge Jr., Robert Mason Eldridge, Dawaun Eldridge, Randa Nichols, Cayden Hutchins and Dustin Heidbreder; his son Kullen (Mason Williams); his siblings, David Eldridge (Sherry), Lucille Roebuck, Roylean Faust and Jarrell Dean Bates; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ladewig, Robert Werner and Mary Kay Eldridge. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (545 8th St, Somerville, TX 77879). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery Church (15984 TX-36, Somerville, TX 77879).
