She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hull and Fayma Hull (Lain); her former husband Ronald Day; her husband Robert Van Lenten; her sister Beverly Smith; and her brother-in-law Ed Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberley Koonce (Rob), Michael Day (Diane) and Gretchen Sowell (Rick); her grandchildren, Lauren Radford, Zachary Tollefson and Austin Tollefson; her nephew Eric Smith (Arin); and her niece Erin Strackbein (John). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Corus Health (hospice) in Albuquerque, NM or The Retreat (dementia specialty care) in Rio Rancho, NM.
