She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Spencer Rogers and Helen Farquhar; her husband George Tommy Newman; her son Tommy Gene Newman; her son-in-law Ray Averitt; and her sister Helen Rogers.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Averitt; her daughter-in-law Gayle Newman; her grandchildren, Kevin Newman, Misti, Daniel Perez, Casey, Stephanie Newman, Matthew and Hannah Averitt; and her great grandchildren, Lane Perez, Talyn Perez, Parker Newman and Preston Newman. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
