She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Grant Ivie and Lola Cozette Ivie; her husband Lawrence Ripper; and her son Alvin Ray Everett. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Grabarschick and Valerie Kay; her son-in-law Don Weiss; her brother Calvin; her sister-in-law Hedy Ivie; her grandchildren, Zach Swanson, Brandon, Courtney Swanson, Brian and Ashley Weiss; her great grandchildren, Alan Swanson, Emma Prewitt, Peyton Prewitt, Carly Weiss, Cohen Miller, Carah Weiss, Oliver Palomo, Jameson Palomo and Greyson Palomo; and her close friends, Ryan Mooney, Matt Otto, Justic McCord and Chris Hall.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brenham Church of Christ (2800 Victory Ln, Brenham, TX 77833).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
