He is survived by: his children, Amanda Jean Scambray Gross (Joshua Gross) and Patrick Jason Ely; his wife Mary Jo Scambray; his son Jamie Scambray (Jamie); his daughter-in-law Jessica; his daughter Heather Ann Ely; his siblings, Vincent Frank Scambray Jr. (Kathy), Frances Willis of Bryan and Charlotte Scambray of Brenham; and his grandchildren, Christian Scambray, Samantha Scambray, Svea Ely, Finn Ely, Devyn Gross and Rowyn Gross.
