She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Hopmann and Ella Hopmann (Loesch); her husband Herbert C. Bockhorn; her son-in-law Joe Kaliszewski, Jr.; and her sisters, Ella Mae Schatz (Ruben), Elsie Schumacher (Paul) and Frances Menn (Ernest).
She is survived by: her children, Shirley of Brenham, Mark Alford of Brenham, Robert of Brenham, Lynn Bockhorn of Brenham, Ronnie of Brenham and Suzanne Bockhorn of Brenham; her grandchildren, Kim Kaliszewski, Karen, Greg Cooper, Jennifer, Nate Harris, Stacey Bockhorn, Joe Hinton, Jill, Cody Coble, Lauren, Jeremy Buckley and Taylor Bockhorn (Cody Jankowski); and her great grandchildren, Kaden Birkelbach, Emma Hinton, Colt Coble, Jackson Buckley, Zachary Cooper, Lane Coble, Robert Harris, Lukas Buckley and Amelia Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. James Lutheran Church or a Charity of Choice.
