It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Elizabeth Kauffman of Brenham, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Kathleen Elizabeth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kathleen Elizabeth. Though Kathleen Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Earle Kauffman; her siblings, Karen McNamara and Ken Kauffman, Jr.; and her stepfathers, Lindy Barton and Bill Martin.
She is survived by: her mother Eadie Barton-Martin of San Antonio; and her brother Greg Kauffman (Martha) of San Antonio. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:30 PM and on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).
