She is survived by: her sister Doris; her sons, Samuel Godwin (Deidra) of Tomball, TX, Daniel Godwin (Melissa Ross) of Austin, TX and James Godwin of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Mason Godwin, Austin Godwin, Sean Godwin, Owen Godwin, Nathan Godwin, Elijah Ross-Godwin and Penelope Ross-Godwin; her husband Allen David Godwin; her sisters, Mae and Carol; and her close friend Linda Carpenter of College Station, Texas..
