He is survived by: his wife Billie Heath Eckert; his daughters, Ruby (Michael Wagner), Carol (Billy Clow) and Kathy Baily; his brother Gene; his sisters-in-law, Ina Eckert and Mona Eckert; his sisters, Joyce Gouldson and Patrica Shahani; his grandchildren, Jessie Fritz, Kaitlyn Fritz, William Clipp (Kristen), Jennifer Guroad, Kimberly Hendrick Susan (Jon Eric Coonse) and Rene Luebke (David Morales); his great grandchildren, Alexis Fritz, Jeremiah Gurode, Zariah Guroad, Jordan Guroad, Aden Clipp, Nicholas Clipp, Emily Hendrick, Tristen Hendrick, Lily Hendrick, Eric Morones, Jasmine Morones, Braden Morales, Scarlett Morales and Henry Pratt; and his great great grandchild Braxton Guroad.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made in Jimmie's name to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
