She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Heidemann, Sr. and Esther Kaase Heideman; her husband Clarence Mills; her siblings, Louis, Otto Heidemann, Jr. and Glendeane Heidemann Roemer; and her son Darrell Herms.
She is survived by: her son Douglas; her daughter-in-law Nancy Herms; her son Gary Mills; her stepdaughter Tammy Lyons; her sister Ruby Heidemann Kubeczka; and her sister-in-law Mary Alice Burks.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Janet can do so by making a memorial contribution to the St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem.
