He is survived by: his wife Rosie Cato of Brenham; his daughter Jaclyn Blackerby (Kenan); his grandson Josiah of Leander; his mother Juanita Cato of Amarillo; his sister Jnita Collins (Donald) of Amarillo; his brother-in-law Todd Crawford of Panhandle; his nephews, Ryan Collins (Stephanie) and Cody Crawford (Alyssa); his niece Katie Fink (Ryan); and also, Paul Boettcher, Katherine Reavis, Theresa Schultz (Adolph), Abraham Boettcher (Georgia), John Boettcher (Sharon), Mary Garcia, Betty Zwahr (Gar) and David Boettcher (Barbara).
