He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Walenta and Agnes Walenta (Legler); his brother Richard; his son Stuart; and his friend Patricia Hajek of Brenham.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Walenta (Richard Cook) of Spring, Steven Walenta (Miranda) of Santa Fe and Wendy Watkins (Chad) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Ashley Gossett (Brian), Madison Anders (Justin), Lauren, Cullen Watkins, Kade, Marina, Lucas and Ellie Walenta; his great grandchildren, River, Sage, Birdie Gossett, Leo and Lucy Anders; his sister-in-law Bunnie Moore; and his caregiver Amydawn Miller.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapels (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
