Glenwood Vierus Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 88, Glenwood Vierus of Brenham, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenwood Vierus to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Vierus and Emma Vierus (Fritz); his son Richard; his siblings, Leon and Ella Mae; and his brother-in-law Willie Rosenbaum.

He is survived by: his friend Lady Bird Johnson; his wife Betty Jane Vierus; his children, Glenwood Vierus, Jr., Diane (Larry Ashorn), Glenna (Winston Teltow) and Betty Sue (Duane Gold); his grandchildren, Ross, Rachel Ashorn of Brenham, Laura Jane, Bryan Bernhard of Abernathy, Gatlin, Tiffany Gold of Houston, Jenna, Douglas Williams of Leander and Heath Gold of Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Maggie (Tyler), Hayden, Kennedy, Brigham, Beckham, Brighton, Grayson, Haley and Heidi; his great great grandchild Blayze; his sister Antalee Goldberg (Wilburn); his siblings-in-law, Mercedes, Eddie Love of Brenham, Trudie Hinze, Jerry Joe, Bernice Vaughn, Margie Spinn, Carolyn, Ronie Nazarian, Dotsy and Ronnie Luhn; and also Linda Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friend.
