The passing of Eugene Menking of Brenham, Texas, born in Schulenburg, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 102. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Mueller Menking and Eugene Edward Menking; and his son Christopher Menking. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fricke Menking; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Cathy Menking; and his grandchildren, Michael, Michelle Menking, Christine and Matthew Bates. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Florida Chapel Cemetery (105 Florida Chapel Rd, Round Top, TX 78954).
