He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Jaster and Annie Jaster (Overmann); and his siblings, Olevia Gaskamp (Erwin), Melvin, Clarence and Erich (Pauline).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, David Jaster (Tammy), Jill Hirtzel (Justin) and Holly Jaster (Raymond Gandy); his grandsons, Justin, Colton and Joshua; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Jaster of Houston and Janelle Jaster of Austin.
