He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith Steele and C. Nelson Steele; his wife Marilyn Ruth Steele; his brother Everett; his daughters, Vera (Don McBride) of Brenham and Summer Rivers Steele (Tony Welch) of Brenham; his grandchildren, Leigh (Barry Linden Jr) of Brenham, Aaron Reed of Houston, Alex Reed of Minnesota and Gabrielle Pollard of Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Brinley and Braydon Linden of Brenham.
