She is survived by: her sons, John Thomas Howard Jr. (Sharon) and Michael Wayne Howard (Cresia); her grandchildren, Nicholas Watts, Moniqua Watts-Lee, Terrance Howard, Trenton Howard, John Thomas Howard III, Carolyn Howard, Amiral Howard and Marcus Green; her siblings, Jackie Rogers, Barbara Newsome, Mamie McGowan and Brenda Jackson; and her nephews, Don Ray Howard and Willie Howard. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
