Dorothy Hohlt Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Hohlt (Brenham, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Hohlt; her parents, Lonnie W. Lueck and Benita Lueck (Hodde); her sister Joyce; her grandparents, Henry, Selma Lueck (Kokemoor) and Frieda Hodde (Schmidt); her stepgrandmother Malinda Hodde (Lueck); her great-grandparent William Lueck; her siblings-in-law, David, Raymond Hohlt, Dorothy Jean Hohlt and Kate Hohlt; and her nephew Don Barnett.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Ray (Trissie Hohlt), Bruce David (Joyce Hohlt) and Harold William "Bill" (Christi Hohlt); her grandchildren, Shelbie, Santos Benitez, Shayna, Lane Vermillion, Tyler, Taylor Hohlt, Wyatt, Courtney Hohlt and Alejandro Jantes; her great grandchildren, Taytum, Tyetan Hohlt, Hazel Vermillion, David and Isabele Jantes; her brother Lonnie "Butch" Lueck (Margie); her siblings-in-law, Charles Everett Hohlt, Donald Hohlt, Weldon (Connie Hohlt) and Florence Smith (Hohlt); and her nieces and nephews, Holly Lynn, Stephen Scott Hohlt, Timothy Todd Hohlt, Roger Dale Hohlt, Randall Craig Hohlt, Russell Everet Hohlt, Jason Charles Hohlt, Michael Yargo, Kelly Corcoran, Chris Sanford, Robert Kwiatkowski, Laurie Hohlt, Carmen Hohlt, Janice Yargo, Amy Corcoran, Rusty Hohlt, Kim Sanford, Laurinda Kwiatkowski and Deanna Barnett.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Church (356 S Berlin Rd, Brenham, TX 77833).
