Bonnie Scheffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Scheffer of Brenham, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Quinly and William Quinly; her husband James Edward Scheffer; her parents-in-law, Edward Charles and Carrie Emma Scheffer; her sister-in-law Francis Scheffer; and her close friends, Henrietta Ahrens, Jerry and Arlene Ahrens.
She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Renee Ahrens; her grandchildren, Courtney Isabele Jantes (Alex Jantes), Brayden James Quinly Scheffer and Quinly Shawn Scheffer; and her siblings-in-law, Billy Scheffer and Shirley (Mike Gajeske). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill (8956 Sandy Hill Rd, Brenham, TX 77833). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church Cemetery - Sandy Hill (8956 Sandy Hill Rd, Brenham, TX 77833).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Sandy Hill or Brazos Valley Hospice.
