She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Ruhland and Augusta Ruhland; her husband Howard Russell Carlson, Jr.; and her son Howard Richard Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Rusty Carlson, Scott Carlson, Stephen Carlson (Sheila), Cindy Burns and Susan Carlson; her grandchildren, Russ Carlson (Vicky), Christi Carlson, Tom Carlson, Danielle Burns, Lauren Burns, Ali Phillips (Patrick), Lily Carlson, Macy Carlson, Michael Carlson (Ashlynn), Austin Carlson and Emma Krueger (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Hope Burns, Daniel Parker and George Phillips.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Rest Cemetery (9600 Mayfair Ln, Brenham, TX 77833).
