He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Holtkamp and Lena Finke Holtkamp; his brothers, Arnold (Laura Holtkamp), Willie (Grace Holtkamp) and Robert (Leona Holtkamp); his brothers-in-law, Hilbert Goessler and Kenneth Stufflebeme; his nephew Albert; and his niece Geneva Ehlert.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Klatte; his children, Susan Appel (Gregg) and Don Holtkamp (Regina); his grandchildren, Candice, Steven Kemper, Caroline, Ryan Long, Stephanie, Chris Koehler, Johanna and Blake Becker; his great grandchildren, Kannon, Knowles Koehler, Jack, Paige Kemper, Andrew and Hannah Long; his sister Lena Mae Goessler; and his sister-in-law Edwina Stufflebeme. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
